Trent Tyson

Trent Tyson was raised in Lubbock County, but also has roots in Lipscomb County where the family ranch is located. Trent moved to Canyon in 1995 to attend West Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor’s in Agribusiness in 1999, and a Master’s in Agribusiness and Economics in 2001. After college he spent nine years working for the Texas Cattle Feeders Association.

Trent came to work at Plains Land Bank in March 2011 and is currently Vice President of Lending in the Amarillo office. Trent and his wife Jandi live outside of Canyon with their two kids. A son, Ben, who attends Canyon High School and a daughter, Haddie, who is at Canyon Junior High. The Tysons stay busy as their kids are involved in both 4-H and FFA, and usually have a barn full of show pigs throughout the year.
